Wisdom & Wealth (DVD). Prosperity theology lacks solid basis; however, Christians have long neglected a serious study of what the Scripture teaches about the correlation between our level of wisdom and our wealth. Allen Wolfe, teaches seven key financial behaviors of the wise found directly in the Bible. One of the top reasons we educate ourselves and our children is to make better money. However, there is a major difference between gaining a general education versus growth in heavenly wisdom. Many saints in Christ die poor because of a lack of “sound wisdom.” Other godly Christians never excel in business because of a lack of God-given wisdom. This does not promote a green eye! But, does aid the development of a green thumb! “A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just” (Pr. 13:22). Christians should be among the wisest of people if we are well connected to the "God of all wisdom." Scripture teaches a correlation between wisdom and dealing with the tangible affairs of this world. Gaining Wisdom (DVD). When people realize the benefits of wisdom, they become determined to gain more it. The people asked of Jesus Christ, "Whence hath this man this wisdom?.." (Mt. 13:54). James 1:5 gives us a most beautiful promise, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." Although we are promised that God gives "liberally," yet wisdom is not the hallmark most Christians. Why? Scripture tells us of eight means by which God grants our request for more wisdom. I also cover the five prerequisites which you must possess in order for the eight means to be effectual. Knowing the five prerequisites will also enable you to better discern the difference between God's wisdom "from above" versus that wisdom which "is earthly, sensual, devilish" (Jas. 3:15-17).
