BTS Reading Planner's ® Main Menu
Starting the Built-In Guide
The Balancing the Sword Reading Planner ® offers an endless
variety of choices, but the Walkthrough makes the Reading Planner's
flexibility very simple to use. You can start the Walkthrough by
clicking on Window and then Walkthrough. Also, you can start a new
schedule using the Walkthrough if you have retained your default settings by
clicking on File and New or by clicking on the New Schedule icon (white
page).

Am I Registered?
Click on Help and About. If you are registered, at the
bottom of the small window, you will see your "Registration key"
and "Product code." Also, if you are not registered, the
word "Unregistered" will print across all entries in your reading
plan after the first three weeks.
Need to Register?
Registering is always easy! The option to register is
presented upon first installation. You can also click on Help and
Registration from the Main Menu. If you already registered, the
software will notify you that your product code is already in use and will
give you the opportunity to enter the 16-character registration key that you
received when you first registered.
Manually Enter Your Registration Number
If you registered your software, but the software still asks you to register and has "unregistered" in red across the planner's schedules, you can enter your registration number manually.
The registration key may have been blocked by your firewall or other security systems.
1: Close the BTS Reading Planner software.
2: Click on "Start."
3: Click on "Run."
4: Type: regedit
5: Click on "HKEY_CURRENT_USER." (If you do not see
this folder, go no further.)
6: Click on "Software."
7: Click on "VB and VBA Program Settings."
8: Click on "Balancing The Sword - Reading Planner"
9: Click on "Registration"
10: In the right panel, double-click the icon next to "RegID" and change the Registration ID to the 16-digit number we provide.
No hyphens should be included.
11: Click "OK" to save your change.
12: Exit the Registry Editor by clicking File and Exit.
13: Open the BTS Reading Planner and create a reading plan to verify success.
You should no longer see "unregistered" across the reading plan.
Changing the Sequence of the Books
Within each reading session, you can change the sequence of
the books. Start by selecting the books you which to move up or
down. (You can select multiple books by holding down the Ctrl key and
clicking on the books.) Then, click on the Up or Down button. Some people prefer to read the New Testament before the Old Testament
because the New Testament is a more familiar section. I pray that your
love for God will compel you to gain a working knowledge of every book in
the Bible.
