Allen B. Wolfe's TheologyThere are a few key convictions that I hold which should be important to each person who loves Christ and the Christian faith. I am a believer in and disciple of Jesus Christ, the spotless lamb of God (Jn. 1:29, 36). I believe that Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and man (1 Ti. 2:5). "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" (Ac. 4:12). I endorse The Apostles' Creed and The Nicene Creed, the two oldest creeds which have received universal acceptance throughout Christianity. I wholeheartedly advocate the plenary inspiration of the Scriptures (2Ti. 3:16). That is, I believe that the sixty-six books of the Bible are the words of God penned through men by the direction of the Holy Spirit (Heb. 1:1). I believe that the Scriptures is the pure source of heavenly wisdom. I firmly believe that the Lord loves to use His Word to open the eyes of our understanding. When we humbly search the Scripture to develop an integrated comprehension of the whole, it is His pleasure to give us insights that lift our soul and grant us wisdom of the most profound sort. Click here to watch a video by Dr. Elton Smith who affirms the orthodoxy of my theology and faithfulness of my advocacy of Jesus Christ. Dr. Smith has known me for 11 years. He has taught as a distinguished professor of British literature and Bible at the University of South Florida for about 50 years. He is the longest standing professor at USF. Dr. Smith earned theological doctorates from Andover Newton Theological School and Harvard Divinity School and a PhD from Syracuse University. In my opinion, Dr. Smith's greatest demonstration of fidelity is the fact that he has been a Baptist preacher for 64 years. These are only a portion of Dr. Smith's credentials.
