Hackerspaces are arising all around the world as centers of organic learning and business incubation. This session of the salon gatherings will meet at Madison’s version of this trend: Sector 67. Sector founder, Chris Meyer, will introduce us to the concept of hacker and maker spaces and help us discuss what role these organic learning spaces have in self-directed learning, and as an economic engine. We will tour Sector and see the types of projects and ideas being created, and learn something about the individuals involved in creating them.
