Homeschoolers Succeed On Their Own Terms - Adult
Wes has worked with many hundreds of young people who have not had a traditional high school education. They have either skipped it or devised an alternative way to spend their ―high school‖ years. They have been successful in post-homeschooling endeavors ranging from professional rock climbing to medicine. He will tell the stories of some of his students, discuss some general ideas, and provide a brief overview of writing transcripts and gaining college admission.
Homeschooling Works: Some Thoughts about How and Why - Adult
Homeschoolers often speak of kids having to spend time in decompression before they can fully engage in homeschooling. The question is, ―Decompression from what?‖ Wes believes that too often experience in traditional schools alienates people from themselves; they try to become the people they believe others want them to become. Homeschooling allows people to be themselves. Wes will explain why he thinks that, in promoting authenticity and the personal power that flows from it, the nurturance of personal traits, such as confidence, motivation, and an ability to persevere, is much more important than adherence to any academic curriculum.

My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with Wes Beach and other workshop leaders and speakers. Furthermore, my desire is to help homeschool workshop leaders and speakers develop relationships with more convention planners and audiences. May your efforts be for the glory of Christ and the strengthening of His saints. Disclaimer:
