Braingames! - Family or Adult version
In Braingames!, we'll explore how to incorporate logic puzzles and abstract strategy games into your homeschooling curriculum. The games and puzzles introduced during this session will open a door to an accessible and fun way to enhance analytical and mathematical reasoning. These games and puzzles seem to appeal to brains that are 8 and up.
At-The-Ready Activities
In this workshop, you will be introduced to (at least) ten fun, cool, and cheap abstract strategy activities that you can keep in your purse (backpack, back pocket, etc.) that your kids will love. What a great way to increase one‘s capacity to think logically! We will also discuss how to implement these activities in your homeschooling curriculum. At the workshop you will get a more extensive list of activities to explore on your own.
Logic Puzzles – Family
Do you Sudoku? Been there, done that, right? In this workshop you‘ll be introduced to many logic puzzles of different levels of depth and complexity, including the newly created and original Pentagrid Puzzles. All of these puzzles take just a few minutes to learn and most can be reproduced at home, at little to no cost. What a great way to increase one‘s capacity for logical think! At the workshop you will get a more extensive list of puzzles to explore on your own.
Pentominos! – Family
Come explore the world of Pentominos! In this workshop you‘ll be introduced to the set of twelve puzzle pieces collectively known as Pentominos and try several hands-on activities. Pentominos are inexpensive, portable, and have a wide range of depth and complexity. At the workshop, you will get a list of activities that you can try on your own.
