OK, God. Now What?
What can you do when life just doesn’t go the way you planned? Meant to be encouraging from the speakers personal testimony! The speaker has homeschooled in 5 different states, and 10 different homes and has experienced quite a bit of turmoil during the journey.
Homeschooling with Confidence
How to draw from and recognize the gifts God has given to prepare you for such a time as this. You can homeschool with confidence, and a smile!
I NEED to Know Just How Special I really Am!
Do you see your special needs student as Brilliant or Behind? Talented or Troublesome? Gifted or Gawky? Blessed or Cursed? Now, what about the child in question? How does your child see themselves? Children with “Special Needs” truly are special, but all too often they have no idea just how special they are. Come learn what a difference it can make when your child is able to view their “gift” as just that. Confidence and high self-esteem is ESSENTIAL for the highest level of academic and personal success. Learn the whys and hows when it comes to instilling this confidence into your child, and yourself.
Homeschooling with Health Issues
You may be wondering whose health issues we are referring to... The homeschooling parent? Spouse? Kiddos? The answer is: All of the above! The speaker has homeschooled since 1993 while living through her own health issues (MS, spinal cord injury, Celiac Disease, and more). In addition to three of her four children having major health issues including Celiac Disease, Asperger’s Syndrome, ADHD, and Scoliosis. Come for inspirations, encouragement, and lots of practical advice. This workshop is drawn from personal testimony of the speaker.

Child of God... Wife of Greg... Mom of 4... Grandmother of 2... Creator of HOMESCHOOLOPOLY® Board Game... Author of Homeschooling | The Journey is The Reward... and Speaker.
Pamela and her husband, Greg, have been happily married for 27 years and have homeschooled their four kiddos since 1993. She walks her homeschooling journey with many challenges, some of which are Multiple Sclerosis, two spinal cord injuries, Celiac Disease, ADHD, and more. In addition, two of her four children have health issues as well including Celiac Disease and Scoliosis. Her husband and 15 year old are blessed with the gift of Asperger's Syndrome and her baby, who is now 9 years old, is blessed with Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and CAPD. Her two oldest are grown and married. Her oldest has graduated from Liberty University and is a successful business owner, a loving husband, and soon to be an awesome dad to his first. Their only daughter is also married, a loving wife, and an amazing mom! Pamela's heart's desire is to encourage and minister to homeschool moms. Her secondary ministry is to encourage, respect, and help lead kiddos and teenagers to Jesus Christ. Pamela was paralyzed from the waist down in August of 2007 and by the grace of God and power of much prayer has recovered beyond anyone's expectations and is now a "walking" miracle. Miracles abound in the Berthume family and God has shown Himself to be amazing and awesome. Although their homeschool journey has taken them through five different states, they have settled down in Upstate South Carolina.
