Saul’s Armor and Other Things That Don’t Fit
King Saul wanted David to go into battle wearing his royal armor. David tried it on... it didn't fit. Many of us are invited or even pressured to "try on" a way of parenting, home-schooling, family life...etc. that has worked for someone else, but may or may not work for us. As helpful as all the well-meaning advice of others may be, only God knows your children's hearts and your family's specific needs. It is Beverly's heart to open the word that reveals God’s desire for us to seek HIM and trust Him to " gently lead those that are with young.
WARRIOR MOTHER: Fighting FOR the kids and not WITH them
Why is it that while moms so often desire a close relationship with their children they end up in conflict with them? Not only is homeschooling near impossible when there is tension in the family, but the ability to influence children’s values is lost. In this session Beverly opens the Word to reveal important help for family harmony. She shares about the transformation in her own home when she recognized the spiritual warfare directed at her own children, and made the choice to fight not WITH them, but FOR them.

	Becoming Your Husband's Helpmate
Drawing from the Scriptures and lessons learned from her own struggles as a wife, Beverly offers help balancing obligations to one's husband and children. This workshop is for the woman who desires to overcome her fears and controlling tendencies, and become her husband's "helpmate."

The 10 Things I Wish I Had Known When I Began Homeschooling
When Beverly started homeschooling more than 25 years ago, she had been a credentialed teacher who taught classrooms full of children, so she felt confident to teach her own children at home. As the years progressed, however, she discovered that her
professional experience wasn't what she needed to influence her children — it was an understanding of God's values and His grace to impart them.

	Loving and Teaching theDifficult Child
Teaching children at home is no simple task, but with some children, it is more difficult than with others. This workshop is for the mom who has one type of particularly challenging child — some would call him or her "ADD.” These children are inattentive, highly distractible, fidgety and impulsive. From her own experience and with biblical wisdom, Beverly helps parents find a practical plan for loving and teaching difficult children.
Dancing in the Storms: Families Who Love During Difficult Times
Life is difficult, be it in finances, relationships or homeschooling itself. But the Lord has promised that He will give us what we need to not only endure these trials, but also to live powerful, productive lives in the midst of them. In this session, Beverly offers practical help from the Word for the mom who wants not just to "survive" each day, but to "dance in the storms."

Turning the Page...Being Present in the Season You Are with Your Children
"As home school moms we have so many dreams of what we want to experience spiritually, academically and relationally with our children…but time takes wings and we are often left feeling we have not nearly accomplished what we desired. If we are not careful we can live looking backwards regretting what we have not done and miss the present and what is yet ahead. In this session Beverly will look at the scripture: Isa 43:18,19 "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland." This session will bring hope to the heart of the mother who desires to live everyday to the fullest, and release the past to the Lord's hands."
