Creativity: More Than Just a Pretty Picture
An orderly and unimaginative homeschool environment can produce pliant, disciplined children. Without creativity, however, we will fail to nurture the problem solvers and innovators of the future. Creativity is much more than being able to draw a pretty picture. In this session, we will look at the importance of creativity and will explore fun and exciting ways to develop a creative homeschool environment. If you homeschool a creative child, we will provide you with some important tools to encourage this creative potential.
Homeschooling Your Gifted Child
Teaching gifted children at home can be a rewarding experience for you and your child. Gifted children have special needs and characteristics that we must understand in order to develop their potential. We will explore these characteristics, discuss current theories of giftedness, and discover strategies for teaching our gifted children at home. In this session you will come to appreciate your child’s giftedness and learn effective ways to motivate and engage your child.
