Tara Jenner is a homeschool mom who runs a cognitive skills training program and related service for children and adults who are facing academic, work, and socially related challenges due to learning skills deficits.
Tara is driven to help others with learning challenges after working with her own daughter and realizing the advantages of improving the areas a weakness rather than "playing to the strengths'.
Tara speaks four languages and has had a lengthy carrer in healthcare law before electing to homeschool her children. As an attorney, Tara has given numerous talks and presentations worldwide on a variety of topics. Tara and her husband, Dr. Keith Susko, live with their two children in Southwest Florida.
Using the science of neuroplasticity, Tara helps develop new neural pathways by working with a student. Targeted activities that are performed with frequency, intensity, increased complexity and for a specified time over a period of weeks stimulate neural activity that can provide good to dramatic changes in the brain. Creation of new pathways is permanent! The training is intense but rewarding. Side benefits regularly include improved self confidence and self esteem in the student within weeks of beginning the training. Tara's talks and workshops are motivational, hands on and provide real answers.
You may also want to follow Tara's blog "Grey Matters." There you will find FREE cognitive skills activities and information pertaining to the brain and how it manifests in our daily activities and academics.
