Getting What You Teach to Stick
Does your child know something one day, and not the next? Are you constantly looking for new and different approaches teaching the same information? Is much of your teaching more accurately "re-teaching"? If you answered yes to these questions, this is the workshop for you. There is a reason the information is not "sticking". Children who do not retain the information they learn are usually as frustrated as the parent teaching them. Learn the neurodevelopmental cause and what you can do to turn it around. Maximize Your Homeschool Time

Children learn when their brains learn and are properly stimulated. By understanding some of the information processing factors that relate to learning, you can help your children learn more efficiently. In this session you will learn how learning occurs in the brain and how you can apply that information to the way you teach your children. You will learn how not to drive yourself crazy trying to fit each child's separate learning types. Specific ideas will be presented for providing "input" of information into the brain for math, reading, spelling, and writing.
