Managing Multi-Level Teaching
There are no easy answers to teaching a number of children of different ages, and there's no doubt that doing so is a real challenge that requires patience and creativity. Though it may feel it's pushing us to our limits, it provides opportunities for our kids to learn responsibility, independence, and self-control. Kathie, will share practical tips and ideas to help make the job a little easier.

Training Character into Your Children
Character is the most important fruit that parents can nurture in their children, and is the foundation for academic learning. Discover how character is learned, and how to establish a plan for teaching it to your children. Kathie, mother of eight, will give several creative ways you canencourage your children to develop in this important area. After hearing this, you will be motivated and full of ideas to use with your own children.

Getting Back On Track! How Do I Get It All Done?
Have changes in your circumstances (such as sickness, a new baby, moving, etc.) caused you to get off track? Or are you just struggling to “get it all done” everyday, get your kids back in line, and your home schooling rolling smoothly again? Where do you start? How do you sort through the distractions and get back to where you know you should be? Kathie will give helpful ideas and insights to encourage you as you strive to get back on track.

Dealing With A Difficult Child
Do you struggle with a child who is difficult or challenging? One that causes you exasperation and takes more time and energy than all your other children put together? How do you respond to the resentment and anger he stirs up in you? How do you respond to him? There IS hope and help!! Get answers to these questions that will encourage you and help you deal wisely and lovingly with that child.

Keeping Kids Pure In Mind And Body
Raising children in our society today and keeping them pure is a real challenge. When children are young, we need to begin to stress the importance of purity and shape their values. Several practical ideas are given on helping to protect your children’s minds and encouraging their physical purity.

Faith: God’s Formula For Homeschool Success
We all want our children to be successful in life, and God’s Word gives us a clear plan for success. So rather than starting with the state’s goals for our children, we should look at God’s goals for them. The most important thing we can do for our children is teach them GOD’s standards for success and build their faith. Kathie will give you practical ideas on how to lead them on a journey of growth in faith and make their spiritual development your most important priority. You will be motivated to focus on seeking to train not just the mind, but also the heart and soul.

Teaching God’s Word Diligently (How to Get Your Kids Excited About the Bible)
Kathie shares how to use God's word all through the day, and how she has taught her children to love God's Word, and get excited about it.  You will be encouraged as she shares the blessings that have resulted in her family as they practiced these ideas. Suggestions will be given on making Scripture memory fun and easy for your children.

Are You Raising a Rebel?
None of us want our children to turn out to be rebellious, but how can we stop it?  Is it normal and necessary?  Often, as parents we are unconsciously instilling a rebellious attitude in our little ones that is revealed in their teen years.  Biblical answers will be given as to how to deal with rebellion, as well as things to avoid that may cause rebellion.

Discouraged or Encouraged?
Times of discouragement are bound to come to all homeschooling parents at some time in their journey.  Kathie, homeschooling mom for 26 years, shares some simple suggestions for when you're facing discouragement, as well as some of the main reasons for it.  You will leave with some practical tips that will help you be encouraged to keep on!
