Get READY, Get SET, Get GOING!!!
This workshop will cover what it takes to set up a homeschool, what options are available for record keeping, etc. and what resources and support are available for the homeschooling parent during the elementary school years. The various homeschooling techniques will also be discussed, as well as the pros and cons of each.
Are YOU Homeschooling By DESIGN or DEFAULT?
This workshop deals with how to PRIORITIZE, PRAY, PLAN and PROVIDE a worthwhile elementary educational experience for your family. You will learn how to set up several kinds of weekly schedules, how to choose curriculum based on your student's learning style and needs, how to lesson plan whether you are using unit studies, unschooling, or a more traditional approach. Come and hear how to make academic subjects come alive through multisensory teaching techniques.
Are you in the RIGHT HOUSE but on the WRONG FLOOR?
This workshop will cover how to recognize a student's learning style, learning difference or disability. Come and learn the four ways to teach the three ways we process information, how you and your students are wired and how to deal with homeschooling a student with special learning needs.
