Teaching Children ART at Home: A Solid Foundation
A vast majority of homeschooling parents are concerned about how to teach their children art. Barry Stebbing has a godly perspective of the fine arts and believes that, because we are made in the image of a very creative God, we are all able to be creative. ART is a learned discipline; so this workshop is filled with specific guidelines for teaching art, complete with inspiring visuals and drawing demonstrations.
Keeping an ART Journal
Barry Stebbing emphasizes the importance of journaling in homeschooling education. "Journaling is an enriching supplement and nurtures a variety of areas in the fine arts, such as drawing, studying details of life, working independently, and developing ones creativity. A completed art journal can become a precious heirloom for future generations." This is a must for teenagers and adults alike.
Selecting an Art Curriculum
An informative workshop in which Barry Stebbing will discuss many pointers in selecting an art curriculum, including specifics of some of How Great Thou ART Publications curriculum. Barry will also discuss pointers on "How to Teach ART in the Home & Classroom" from his recently published book.
