"yrotsiH: Why We Have It Backwards"
How we, as members of secularized culture, unthinkingly view history as the "story of mankind," putting humans, not God, in the starring role. We didn't just learn secular history when we were students in school; we also absorbed a secular definition of history, and education itself! The Lord has a better, and more enjoyable, way!
"Hot Rods and Hope Chests: Boys and Girls Learn History Differently"
The feminine nature of homeschool mothers leads us to teach history in feminine ways, so we must proactively connect with our sons when teaching the powerful impact of spiritual-focused history on the

Michelle Miller, the author of TruthQuest History and a columnist for Homeschooling Today magazine, has been--along with her husband of over 30 years--homeschooling their four children (one adopted from Siberia) since 1992. Of course, some are now graduated (homeschool and college) and have begun families (five grandchildren, and counting!) of their own.
Michelle speaks to Christians who have unwittingly absorbed secular viewpoints on education and parenting. She has been interviewed twice on these topics, for example, by Moody Radio's "PrimeTime America" program and has spoken for various homeschooling events and internet activities. She has also done many private consultations and has served on the board of her local homeschool group.
Michelle also has a great deal of expertise on children's literature, and founded (1995) the Children's Preservation Library, which currently offers over 20,000 precious volumes to its member families.
Michelle and her husband, in their younger years, served with various Christian organizations to increase Judeo-Christian influence in culture and government. They have been involved in a local church throughout their marriage, and Michelle has enjoyed several short-term mission trips to the USSR, Poland, and Jamaica.
Michelle graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama.

My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with Michelle Miller and other workshop leaders and speakers. Furthermore, my desire is to help homeschool workshop leaders and speakers develop relationships with more convention planners and audiences. May your efforts be for the glory of Christ and the strengthening of His saints. Disclaimer:
