Defending and Teaching the Constitution
Every American should have a thorough understand of the Constitution. Unfortunately, this document is widely misunderstood and often disrespected. This seminar will teach the fundamental principles upon which the Constitution was based and provide a principle perspective on the Constitutional controversies of the day. Although we cannot provide an entire constitution course in one hour, we will show parents how to create a full Constitution curriculum for their students--complete with commentary by those who actually wrote the document.

Introduction to Debate
This workshop will cover the benefits of competitive speech and debate for homeschool students and their families. Debate is an excellent tool for learning research, reasoning, logic, public speaking, writing and many other subjects that we all want our students to master, all in an environment that students enjoy. Speech and debate are activities that give students real skills that they can use to influence the world around them for the cause of Christ. We will also examine how competitive speech and debate operates in the homeschool arena as well as how you can get your student involved.

My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with Michael "Mike" Winther and other workshop leaders and speakers. Furthermore, my desire is to help homeschool workshop leaders and speakers develop relationships with more convention planners and audiences. May your efforts be for the glory of Christ and the strengthening of His saints.
