Karla Akins has educated her children for more than 23 years. She taught in a private school for seven years before homeschooling, and had her own cottage school for seven. She is a columnist for the Fort Wayne, Indiana Homeschool Examiner. She specializes in multi-level teaching, special education, autism, ADD, ADHD and other cognitive and developmental disabilities.
