Peggy's passion is to serve God wherever He calls, and to motivate others to do the same. The common thread in all of Peggy s lessons, lectures, writings, and retreats is the truth that God is present in all of life's circumstances and believers need to be ready, and always on the alert, to see how God is uniquely revealing Himself in their lives. Her goal for every interaction brought into her life is to make sure she is "shedding light on the pathway that leads to true life" and in 2012 she set aside a year to blog for just that reason at SheddingLightOnThe Path.blogspot.com. In 2013, Peggy started a new website, which she still maintains, called WithAllYourLife.com, where she features all her varying interests on an on-going basis.
Peggy is the former MACHE (Minnesota Association of Christian Home Educators) Special Needs Coordinator and MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) Area Coordinator for MN, ND and SD. She is also certified by the American Association of Christian Counselors, has had the opportunity to put that training into action as a foster mom to three special needs preschoolers from 2010 - 2011. And, if that was not enough, Peggy also took a run for a political office in 2012, and ran a hobby farm for 5 years which produced the majority of her family's food over that time period.
For the Ployhar family, their homeschooling adventure began 12 years ago when her oldest son was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome.Over time, God increased their passion to then homeschool all 3 of their children, while at the same time He brought complete healing to their oldest son, who in 2014 graduated from their homeschool and is now living in Florida training for his chosen career.
The Ployhar family now resides just north of Houston, TX, where they continue to homeschool their younger two children.
My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with Peggy Ployhar and other workshop leaders and speakers.
