Homeschooling High School and Beyond (Part 1) (with her husband, Curt)
This is a two-hour workshop that will be broken into two parts.
Has the question been looming in your mind, “Can I teach high school?” Curt and Kathy have encouragement for you. This session will cover Dad’s role with sons and daughters, and
making decisions on the classes you don’t feel equipped to teach. They also will share some thoughts concerning the role of extracurricular and volunteer activities in achieving your child’s goals.

Homeschooling High School and Beyond (Part 2) (with her husband, Curt)
This is the second of a two-hour workshop.
Do you have questions about what it takes to home school at the high school level? Curt and Kathy will discuss some practical aspects of teaching high school in this hour. This session will focus on legal requirements for high school in Kansas and Missouri, recordkeeping, transcripts, college entrance exams, and options for college.

Homeschooling at the Speed of Life
Life moves fast, and we all struggle to find balance and order in our homes and homeschooling. Ten "time minders" that help us get organized, with lots of encouragement and emphasis on the ability of ANY Mom to achieve balance in getting it all done. A new way of looking at organization with Marilyn's definition of organization from a biblical foundation.

Clutter, Clutter Everywhere and Not a Spot to Think
Clutter in our homes and lives is one of the biggest deterrents to our homeschools. We must deal with it before we can be most effective in our homes. Clutter strangles our lives in numerous ways physically, aesthetically, emotionally, and spiritually. Practical workshop how to rid your home of clutter and simplify your life. Come prepared to clean a closet mentally so you can take that information home and use it.

Teaching Children Life Skills
How can we teach our children to clean their rooms and other impossible tasks? Teaching "life skills" and the skill of organization. Helping children set goals, finish projects, remember important things, and take responsibility for their own activities. Why it is important for their futures and how to do it. Applies to all age children but with an emphasis on starting them out when they are young.

Paper by the Pile
Help! I'm drowning in paper in this supposedly "paperless" computer world! I'm on everyone's mailing list! What paper do I keep, and what do I toss? Learn to make wise decisions about paper and what records to keep. Learn how to use Marilyn's unique and simple F SHARP system to control paper coming into your home, and set up her unique Archive for paper. Freebie forms available for attendees to workshop.

Roggow's Bio

Curt and Kathy Roggow have a son and two daughters, and they homeschooled all three from kindergarten through high school. All three have graduated from college, are married, and are following the Lord. Curt and Kathy now are learning how to be “homeschooling grandparents” to seven grandchildren. As a lawyer Curt had to balance the pressures and constant demands of practicing law with the challenges of rearing a family. Kathy is a former math teacher who is glad she tackled the challenges of walking her children through the high school years at home. Curt and Kathy have a heart to encourage parents—both fathers and mothers—to impart godly character and a Biblical worldview while also instilling academic excellence to prepare teenagers to be leaders in every area of society.

My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with Kathy Roggow and other workshop leaders and speakers. Furthermore, my desire is to help homeschool workshop leaders and speakers develop relationships with more convention planners and audiences. May your efforts be for the glory of Christ and the strengthening of His saints.
