Alaska Tsunami Ocean Sciences Bowl: Catch the Wave
Interior homeschoolers, catch the wave! Learn about the Alaska Tsunami Ocean Sciences Bowl, a fun and exciting statewide high school-level marine science quiz bowl and research paper competition held in Seward each February. Alaska's winning team members get UAF scholarships and travel Outside to compete in national finals. This year's Alaska competition was the biggest ever, with 22 teams, 105 students, and 23 coaches. But there were no teams from Interior Alaska. Interior homeschoolers, let's change that!
