Teaching to the Way God Made Them: Why Classical Education and the Trivium Work.
This workshop provides the audience with a thorough overview of classical education and the trivium, and examines the way God designed children to learn in unique ways during each stage of their development.    This workshop provides strategies for educating children through the grammar, dialectic, and rhetoric stages of development from birth to high school.

Fill the Freezer
This workshop gives the busy homeschooling mother all the tools she needs to be more efficient in providing healthy, economical and delicious meals for her family.   Lesli will give the audience a step-by-step plan to conquer the sometimes overwhelming task of feeding family and friends impressive meals with the least amount of time and effort.   Each attendee will be given a handout with instructions, and ten of Lesli’s favorite freezer meals.

What’s In the Box? Using Activity Boxes to Tame Your Toddler!
In this workshop Lesli demonstrates how to create a set of activity boxes that can be used to entertain and educate toddlers, providing Mom with an easy, organized way to keep those little ones constructively busy while educating older children or attending to household tasks.

Creating a Great Homeschool Room
Joined by her handy husband Brendan, Lesli shares how they have designed a great homeschool environment for their children using a few simple woodworking tools and supplies from their local hardware store.    They will share some of the plans in Lesli’s upcoming book “The Homegrown Preschooler” for a sensory and light table and plexiglass easel.   Each workshop participant will receive a free plan and a comprehensive resource list.

God's Design in Disability: Homeschooling Your Special Needs Child with Joy
Based on her own experiences with her autistic son, Lesli shares hope and encouragement with moms who are choosing this difficult, but incredibly rewarding path.   Transparent about her own successes and failures, Lesli shares strategies and problem solving techniques for homeschooling special needs children from toddlers to high school.

The Homegrown Preschooler
In this fun and creative workshop, Lesli shares how to create an amazing preschool experience for your child at home.   From the latest in scientific research on early child development to the organization of supplies, this information packed workshop will help you prepare your child for kindergarten and make wonderful memories along the way!   This seminar is based on The Homegrown Preschooler, by Kathy Lee and Lesli Richards, an upcoming Gryphon House release for Spring 2013.

My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with Lesli Richards and other workshop leaders and speakers. Furthermore, my desire is to help homeschool workshop leaders and speakers develop relationships with more convention planners and audiences. May your efforts be for the glory of Christ and the strengthening of His saints.
