AVKO Approach to Reading/Spelling for the Dyslexic and Most Other Problematic Learners (with Brenda Kinsel)
If your child just isn’t getting it and forgets from day to day what has been taught, then this is a session you don’t want to miss. You will learn the method that, Don McCabe, a dyslexic himself uses to teach at a detention center in Flint, Michigan to students at the bottom pile academically. The method worked. It got their attention and helped them to overcome their own resistance to learning. It’s not difficult to learn and is easily applied to your own homeschool setting.
