Art that Talks – Chalk Talk
Join Melody as she shares her experiences of how God has given her opportunities to express her artistic talents. She will discuss how God prepared her for the "big things" in her life by giving her small steps that became increasingly more and more challenging. You will be encouraged to discover your own specific talents and motivated to begin using those gifts to glorify God now. If you have never seen a chalk art presentation, you will be fascinated to watch as Melody creates a vibrant painting before your very eyes. You won't want to miss this unique and interesting workshop!
Creative Cartooning
Come participate in this hands-on funshop! Kids and parents alike will enjoy learning basic cartooning and how simple drawings and doodles can be excellent memorization tools. Bring pencil and paper!

Melody Hemmer is a homeschool graduate, professional artist and private art instructor. She has been giving individual art lessons as well as large group classes for ten years. Melody enjoys showing people of all ages that drawing is not necessarily just an inborn talent, but one that can be learned. In addition to teaching, she is also a Gospel chalk artist, has illustrated a children’s book and painted a number of murals.
