Elements of Storytelling
When seen through the eyes of a young child, the world is full of new things to explore and understand. We have the delightful job of introducing them to the gift of language: the exchange of ideas from generation to generation that becomes the Great Conversation. Choosing stories that capture your child, being well prepared to tell them, and loving the stories you tell are all part of this Great Conversation. This workshop will teach you how to choose stories children will love, give practical ideas on how to prepare, and explore your role as communicator through the story. Even after 20 years of teaching Kathleen loves her job as a children’s speaker and can’t believe they pay her to sing, dance, teach children about creative writing and storytelling. She recently published her first two books in a series based on two children’s first experiences at school and their Show and Tell experiences.

My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with Kathleen McMillan and other workshop leaders and speakers. Furthermore, my desire is to help homeschool workshop leaders and speakers develop relationships with more convention planners and audiences. May your efforts be for the glory of Christ and the strengthening of His saints. Disclaimer:
