Teaching Music in the Home
Acquiring general music skills, learning to play a musical instrument, or participation in an instrumental or choral ensemble can be an exciting and beneficial part of your child's educational development. Often, students involved in music education show improvement in other academic areas. Most importantly, instruction in music provides the student with a venue for enjoyable and effective Christian ministry. In this session we will highlight the importance and benefits of including music in your home school curriculum. We will discuss the various elements of a well-rounded music education and what ages are appropriate for each. Finally, we will explore resources and methods available to you to make music a vital part of your child’s education.

My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with Dana Heidenreich and other workshop leaders and speakers. Furthermore, my desire is to help homeschool workshop leaders and speakers develop relationships with more convention planners and audiences.
