Modern Application of the United States Constitution
When the delegates completed their “plan of the convention” that summer of 1787 in Philadelphia, they assumed that future generations would preserve the blessings of liberty by creating in their posterity a hunger to rightly divide the word of truth found in that document. However, year after year we are confronted with poll after poll that informs us of the widespread lack of understanding of the fundamental law of the land – the United States Constitution. We did not arrive at our current state of ignorance overnight. It has taken the American people centuries to come to the point that a document drafted for the sole purpose of serving “We the People” is believed to be the governing instrument of an elite few. This situation was never intended by the Constitution’s framers.
In this workshop, attendees will learn how the United States Constitution was intended to be utilized by citizens of this Republic, where we are today as a country in applying its principles and how we get back to the original intent.
The workshop will be led by former six-term Member of the United States House of Representatives and President of the Constitution Institute John Hostettler. The mission of the Constitution Institute is:
• Preserving the blessings of liberty for ourselves and our posterity by
• Promoting a greater understanding of the United States Constitution and
• Providing an education in the practical application of Constitutional principles thereby
• Producing citizen-statesmen

My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with John Hostettler and other workshop leaders and speakers. Furthermore, my desire is to help homeschool workshop leaders and speakers develop relationships with more convention planners and audiences. May your efforts be for the glory of Christ and the strengthening of His saints. Disclaimer:
