The How-Tos of Grading
While an abundance of information seems to be available on how to create a transcript and calculate a GPA, many homeschooling moms seem unsure as to how to obtain the grades necessary to figure a course grade. This very practical workshop will address questions such as “What should I grade?” “How do I arrive at a grade for a particular assignment?” and “How do I calculate a course grade?” Other topics will include the issue of grading scales and the dangers of putting too much emphasis on grades. This workshop is intended for the parents of students in grades 7-12 as Michelle does not advocate issuing grades before that time.
