Teaching Reading is as Easy as 1, 2, 3!
Did you know that 85% of children can learn to read with very little support. They are visual learners and can memorize letter sounds and word parts easily. Research says the othe 15% will struggle UNLESS we teach them using intensive phonics AND teach reading and spelling simultaneously!

Has taught struggling readers using the Orton-Gillingham approach, which she learned at the Reading Institute of Rochester, Minnesota, and also teaches other teachers how to be more effective teachers of reading.

My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with Cathy Angel and other workshop leaders and speakers.
