New Homeschooler Training A Session full of information for getting started on your homeschool journey. If you are just jumping into the homeschooling arena, you will likely have questions regarding how to get started, the law, and what curriculum best suits your child's needs. Of course, the most asked question is still about socialization. With great graphics and a loving heart, Teri's presents her desire to see everyone not only succeed at homeschooling, but love being with their children as they school through the long term.
Homeschooling Through All Kinds of Weather In this session, we will take a look at homeschooling through any circumstance with different forms of educational philosophies suited to each need. Different seasons, including new babies, moves and illnesses can require homeschooling to be moldable to fit your families needs. Teri will offer solutions to help you weather the storms.

Teri Shepard and her husband Brian currently serve on the board of SHEM. They are raising 4 daughters and a son to aspire to great things. Teri was formerly set on the track of public education, including serving as the first State Board PTA Junior Representative for the State of Arizona. Everything changed when her home began to fill up with the laughter of her children. Brian and Teri have been homeschooling from the beginning, aside from that brief day when Teri enrolled and un-enrolled their oldest child from public education. It was that defining day that they decided not to lose their children to the system. Teri sees home education as a lifestyle of learning and finds every moment a teachable moment.

My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with Teri Shepard and other workshop leaders and speakers.
