Strategies for Struggling Learners and Exhausted Moms
This workshop focuses on specific no-frills/low-cost/easy-to-implement strategies to help our children break through obstacles to learning. These are not something extra that we add on to our lesson plan; these are ideas to change how we teach our kids. There isn't one magic bullet for most of our students. We'll talk about all the little things that we can do to stack the deck in everyone's favor . . . to make learning a little easier for everyone concerned!

Can I Help My Child with Special Needs? I’m Not an Expert!
This workshop encourages parents of special needs children that yes, they can help their child.Sometimes this means outside help, sometimes it means adjusting our expectations, and sometimes it means simply adapting what we're doing until the light goes on.The key is having the confidence to pursue something different.

Failure to Connect: Choosing Curriculum That Fits
Home education gives us the opportunity to choose or design a curriculum that allows our children (and our families) to be who they are uniquely created to be. So, why do we sometimes simply follow the crowd? One size does NOT fit all! Let’s look at the things that make a curriculum or method of teaching a good choice . . . or a disaster! Let’s assess our family, the teacher (mom or dad!), the kids, and the curriculum and see if it fits.

Organizing for Real Families
Got kids? Got mess? Keeping a household running efficiently while home schooling is a challenge. If some members of the family happen to be organizationally challenged themselves, then it can be really difficult. Come explore ideas for organizing your home and school room that are for real families with budgets, space limitations, time limitations—real families with real people who make real messes. Learn organizing ideas that will enable the entire family to participate and not be overwhelmed in the process.

My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with Beverly Parrish and other workshop leaders and speakers. Furthermore, my desire is to help homeschool workshop leaders and speakers develop relationships with more convention planners and audiences. May your efforts be for the glory of Christ and the strengthening of His saints.
