Saving Time with Learning Games
This workshop demonstrates how including simple learning games into our lesson plans will actually save time for homeschooling parents.  I have been creating and using learning games with students for over 25 years.  In this workshop, I explain why learning games are educationally effective, how to find or make simple games, how to efficiently include time for games in lesson plans without adding to our workload, and how to organize the other aspects of homeschooling to make more time for fun.

Adoption 101
This is an informational workshop on the process of domestic adoption. After years of the Lord's prompting, we went through the adoption process to be blessed with the addition of some of our five children.  In this workshop, I share the truth about our family's adoption experiences and the valuable lessons we learned.  Attendees are given basic information about the adoption process, such as the cost.  (For example:  Fost-Adopting is nearly free.) The Lord is prompting more and more homeschooling families to adopt.  Homeschooling families are ideal candidates for adopting because they are already committed to the personal development and education of their children.  My husband, Rob, and I are often asked to meet privately with couples considering adoption.  The information shared in this workshop is the same information we share in private consultation with couples.
