Create Creative Writers by Using Poetry
Students who engage in writing poetry will develop confidence in their voice, strengthen the ability to communicate new ideas and convey observations of their world. Crafting poetry has the potential to translate ideas where prose may at times seem daunting. Reading and writing poetry unlocks the power to inspire imagination with immediacy and intensity. Moving from reading and recognizing poetic ideas, to engaging in personal expression through writing, develops an awareness of the world at large. Inspire your children to expand the boundaries of their imagination and intellect and to enliven their writing.

Exploring the Architecture of the Essay
Just as no two fingerprints are alike, every author has a distinct writing style. Voice is the fingerprint of an author. As writers develop confidence in their ability to creatively express their ideas they will recognize the power of writing. Everything that is read was once written by someone who had an idea. An essay can have many purposes, but ultimately it must first engage the reader. Unless the essay engages the reader, its underlying purposes—to instruct, to convince, to convey—will be lost. Join us as we explore the architecture that will help your students communicate their big idea in a coherent, engaging, and focused essay that conveys a well-defined perspective and a tightly reasoned argument.

My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with Kimberly Bredberg and other workshop leaders and speakers. Furthermore, my desire is to help homeschool workshop leaders and speakers develop relationships with more convention planners and audiences. May your efforts be for the glory of Christ and the strengthening of His saints.
