  • Director of Development:  Artios Academy
  • Teacher at Artios Academies of Gwinnett and John’s Creek
  • Creator of the Artios Home Companion
  • Director:  Artios Outpost
Lane's Bio

John is a 2004 graduate of Artios Conservatory and attended North Greenville University to study theater and Georgia State University to study Economics. On April 3rd,  2010 John married the love of his life, Windy Thompson-Lane, who also teaches and choreographs with Artios Academies. John is currently the Director of Development for Artios. In addition to teaching several classes (Worldview, Government and Economics, Elements of Production) at the Artios Academies of Gwinnett and John’s Creek, he is also the creator of the Artios Home Companion and the current director of the Artios Outpost. Having grown up in Artios, gone to college, and returned to Artios, John has seen the need for a program that teaches the arts and academics in a creative and integrative approach with a strong emphasis on a Biblical worldview. Having been the recipient of such an education while at Artios, he knows and understands the value that it holds. He views it as a privilege to be a part of Artios and working towards its goal of helping parents raise educated, equipped, and elevated, servant leaders of the Kingdom.

My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with John Michael Lane and other workshop leaders and speakers. Furthermore, my desire is to help homeschool workshop leaders and speakers develop relationships with more convention planners and audiences.
