A little about me, I am homeschooling mom of 20 years. I have been a HomeWorks by Precept Home School Consultant Representing BJU Press, Rosetta Stone and others since 2004. Our Family has used the BJU Press Curriculum as our base for those years. All 4 of my children have been homeschooled from the beginning. My oldest graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville TN 2012. My Second son is a pilot and is currently attending Mid TN State University in their Pro Pilot program. My 3rd Child, a daughter, in college studying Family and Consumer Science. She is graduating May 2016. She was awarded an internship over the summer of 2016. She plays the Harp and is an excellent seamstress. She is still very involved in sharing her sewing talents. She has been on two missions trips sharing her sewing talents with women in another country. My youngest daughter is now in her junior year in college studying a Biology Major. Because of her dual enrollment classes and CLEP course she has done in the past she is on track to graduate early. She loves animals and is currently exploring her options in the animal kingdom. She was involved in the local 4H and has taught dog obedience classes for the 4 H dog Club. In 2012 she was invited to the National Showcase with her Pug as they Ranked 3rd in the Nation in Rally Novice. :-)
Academics have always been very important to my husband and me. We felt that BJU Press provided the high quality academics we needed to keep us on track and allow us the time to explore each child's interest after academics. After taking care of my children's needs and my husband, I thoroughly enjoy talking with homeschoolers all over sharing what has worked for our family through the years to accomplish a well rounded education for our children.
