Teaching Special Needs Children
Setting realistic goals, choosing affective curriculum, keeping the teaching fun, and adapting curriculum are just a few of the areas that will be covered in this session. Jennifer will also be teaching about the basics of developing and using a “Personal Individual Education Plan” to keep parents and students on the right track. Included in this hour will be teaching tips on how to make a unique program to help develop a child’s brain, focusing on simple tasks that improve retention, retrieval, and processing speed.

Q&A Session for Families with Special Needs Children
Spend an hour with Jennifer Bliesner getting all special needs questions answered. She will be answering parent’s personal questions and making suggestions geared towards individual children. (This session will not be recorded)

Married 35 years and a mother of eight (5 of which are special needs), Jennifer Bliesner has home schooled for twenty-four years. She has also worked as a curriculum consultant limiting her work to children with special needs. Currently Jennifer tutors home school students with special needs, and has set up a program to mentor families with this unique challenge.
