The Difference Classical Conversations Can Make in Your Homeschool
Are you looking for accountability and fellowship in your homeschool journey? Would you like to take learning to a higher level using a classical education environment? Check out Classical Conversations and explore what you and your kids are truly capable of learning!

Considering Homeschooling?
According to the Nebraska Department of Education, an average more than 800 children have started homeschooling in Nebraska each year since 2009! Have you weighed the pros and cons of homeschooling? Have you stayed up late at night researching the benefits of homeschooling? Do you still have some questions? Come. Ask. Get help from one of Nebraska’s most connected homeschooling veterans.

Homeschool Sports Access and the Uneven Playing Field in Nebraska?
Would you like your child to participate on your local school’s sports team? Would you like your homeschool team to play against local school teams instead of having to travel so much? Do you believe in the value of kids playing team sports and athletics? Do you feel you have no choice but to send your child to a public high-school due to the current sports access laws in Nebraska? Has your family been affected by the current laws and regulations? Did you know our neighboring states allow much broader access for homeschool kids to participate in sports and extra-curricular activities? Whether your child has an interest in band, swimming, baseball, soccer, or another sport or extra-curricular activity, please come join in conversation with interested homeschool parents and help us pursue equal access in Nebraska! Attorney and homeschool dad Phil Belin along with Shana Baker will lead our discussion and be available to answer questions about access in Nebraska.

Baker's Bio

As a young girl who often sported a pink dial plastic phone, faux leather briefcase and dreamed of becoming a vice-president, this veteran homeschooling mom of 3 girls and wife of 16 years never imagined God would direct her path to where she is today! After giving up the corporate world and answering the call of homeschooling, Shana is now an active presence in the homeschool community and teaches her children classically. She passionately shares her homeschooling vision with parents considering the homeschool journey and answers questions with helpful insight and honesty. Shana's enthusiasm and understanding, endearing stories, and valuable tips will lighten your burden and help you decide if homeschooling really is for you.

My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with Shana Baker and other workshop leaders and speakers. Furthermore, my desire is to help homeschool workshop leaders and speakers develop relationships with more convention planners and audiences. May your efforts be for the glory of Christ and the strengthening of His saints.
