Investigator Series: Hand Writing Hang-ups and Fine Motor Fumbling
Dust off your Sherlock cap and break out the magnifying glass, as we examine the handwriting process through the eyes of an occupational therapist! Cognition, sensory feedback and processing, gross motor stability, fine motor coordination, visual perception, directionality... Phew! Where is the breakdown and how can we emphasize the strengths and back up the needs?

Investigator Series: How to Use All Three “Input Cables” into the Brain in Every Lesson
If we investigated your teaching style, would it include kinesthetic, visual, and auditory downloads? What do your children use for their operating system, and how can you incorporate it into your lessons without scrapping your entire curriculum?

Selena's Achievements
  • Homeschooling mother of four children, some with special needs
  • Former pediatric occupational therapist
Riddle's Bio

Selena Riddle, OTR/L, is a homeschooling mom of four adorable children. Using her background as a pediatric occupational therapist, she has embraced the challenge of investigating the unique learning needs of her children, who carry such labels as "post-institutionalized," "ADHD," "ADD," "tactile defensiveness," "brachial plexus injury," "English as an other language," and "auditory processing deficit." A firm believer that God has determined the times and places her children should live (three are adopted), she and her forensic scientist husband, Chris, reside in Kansas where they nicknamed their home, "Riddle School for the Gifted."

My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with Selena Riddle and other workshop leaders and speakers. Furthermore, my desire is to help homeschool workshop leaders and speakers develop relationships with more convention planners and audiences. May your efforts be for the glory of Christ and the strengthening of His saints.
