STEM Careers Opportunities at 2 Year Colleges
Students seeking to pursue STEM related careers will learn about the two-year degrees and certifications offered by Florida's community and state colleges. The A.S. ET Degree Program has three components: general education, ET technical core, and specialization tracts that address regional industry needs. Mrs. Bagley will share information about the Engineering Technology Degree and the career paths that are hiring skilled workers today. FLATE offers free tours of advanced manufacturing facilities for students 6th - 12th. The tours allow students to see first hand how STEM is used in the workforce. A new initiative to reach out to homeschooling groups in the state of Florida has begun. The services offered by FLATE are free because FLATE is supported by the National Science Foundation.

My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with Deshjuana Bagley and other workshop leaders and speakers. Furthermore, my desire is to help homeschool workshop leaders and speakers develop relationships with more convention planners and audiences. May your efforts be for the glory of Christ and the strengthening of His saints. Disclaimer:
