Parental Rights: What Are We Fighting For?
Are our rights as parents to direct the upbringing and education of our children coming under fire? Could the U.S. Senate ratify a United Nations treaty that would grant the federal government unprecedented authority to overrule the wishes of parents? Is a federal amendment protecting parental rights the answer? Come learn the answers to these questions and more as Jill discusses our role as parents and what we need to do to protect that role.

Jill volunteers as the Missouri Coordinator for ParentalRights.org, a national organization that is fighting to protect children by preserving the rights of parents to direct the upbringing and education of their children. She is currently working with a Missouri state representative to introduce a parental rights bill in the General Assembly.
Jill and her husband Bob have been homeschooling for seven years. In each of the past four years they have met with their state legislators to share about homeschooling and the importance of maintaining educational freedom.

My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with Jill Johnson and other workshop leaders and speakers.
