The Truly Educated Person Never Graduates: Looking Beyond Academics and Thinking About How Best to Engage Your Kingdom Purpose
In this session we'll think about how best to help young people engage their calling. College has increasingly become a riskier option for young people standing on the threshold of adulthood (financial, moral and spiritual); increasingly the risks are overshadowing perceived benefit. We'll attempt to provide a safe place to examine our own assumptions about what it means to be educated and responsive to our place in God's kingdom.

Bill and Jo Ellen have been married for 38 years and have homeschooled since 1981. They are the proud parents of five wonderful and uniquely talented children. Their role as home educators is, first and foremost, to help each child discover who they are and how they fit into God's great plan. Bill and Jo Ellen were active in Families for Home Education for many years. Currently, they promote the Hi Pointe Theater, conduct English Country Dance Balls, and host small discussion groups for homeschool families who have struggling learners. They reside in Maplewood, Missouri.

My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with Bill McDonald and other workshop leaders and speakers. Furthermore, my desire is to help homeschool workshop leaders and speakers develop relationships with more convention planners and audiences. May your efforts be for the glory of Christ and the strengthening of His saints. Disclaimer:
