Brain Based Techniques to Help Struggling Learners Soar!
Does your child experience difficulties in reading and writing, memory retention, attention, sitting through a lesson? Helping your struggling child can be a challenge. In this talk Dr. Thomson will explain some brain based techniques that can be used at home to help children with some common learning disabilities such as ADD/ADHD, reading disorders (such as dyslexia and Irlen’s), developmental dyspraxias, and Aspergers. Dr. Thomson will review the science behind these conditions and how/why these brain based techniques can give your struggling learner the boost they need to soar.

Dr. Robert Thomson is a graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO. Prior to attending Logan Dr. Thomson obtained his Bachelors of Science in pre-professional biology with a minor in chemistry from Southeastern Louisiana University. Dr. Thomson has taken 325 hours of post-graduate course work in neurology and is currently studying to take the board exam to become a board certified chiropractic neurologist. Dr. Thomson currently practices in Fenton, MO and resides in St. Louis with his wife and son.
