Seasons of Change: Adapting Your Homeschool for the Changing Needs of Your Child
Whether you are new to homeschooling or a seasoned veteran, one thing is the same for us all...change is constant! Change is good, because it can also bring development along with it. This doesn't only apply to the "typically" developing child. Children with special needs also grow and develop - just in their own, unique ways. Be encouraged and uplifted as you learn when and how to adapt your homeschool for the needs of your developing child, throughout their educational years.
Thinking, Core, and More
Does your child have trouble paying attention or sitting still? Does he fall out of his seat frequently? The "root" of the problem may actually be the core! In this workshop, discover the relationship between core muscle strength, movement, and learning. Apply this knowledge at home as you implement specific set-up tips and fun "core" activities to improve the homeschool day, for you and your child!

Delia’s mission is to encourage and empower families as they follow God’s call to homeschool their children. She strives to do this by teaching practical tips on setting children up for success, whether they have special needs or just need a little help to focus more efficiently. She combines her experience as a pediatric occupational therapist with the insights gained by her and her husband as the homeschooling parents of a child with Sensory Processing Disorder, to help parents rediscover the joy in their relationships with their children as they learn together on their homeschooling journey.

My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with Delia Poythress and other workshop leaders and speakers. Furthermore, my desire is to help homeschool workshop leaders and speakers develop relationships with more convention planners and audiences. May your efforts be for the glory of Christ and the strengthening of His saints. Disclaimer:
