Learning Strategies for the Gifted Learner
This workshop considers a multipronged approach to educating your gifted child; encompassing learning styles, educational philosophy, and desired outcomes. Teaching strategies for the gifted learner aims to share effective methodologies for engaging and educating your gifted learner.

Sydney and her family live in rural Glades County Florida where they tend a variety of livestock and crops. She and her husband have been blessed with three beautiful daughters. One of the key factors in their decision to homeschool was their eldest child’s profound gifted status.
They firmly believe one home educates their children from birth. They have felt called to impart their values to their children in an environment truly structured with their children’s best interest in mind.
As a former public school teacher, Sydney has a unique perspective on the school system and the need to home educate. Sydney holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from FAU where she graduated magna cum laude, a teaching struggling readers endorsement, and is currently attending advanced degree courses in educating the gifted learner.

My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with Sydney Clapp-Roper and other workshop leaders and speakers. Furthermore, my desire is to help homeschool workshop leaders and speakers develop relationships with more convention planners and audiences.
