Cueing systems in language arts refers to the various systems or techniques employed by readers to determine the meaning of an unfamiliar word. Cueing systems are an important part of analyzing the words of the Bible.  Among these systems are the four language cueing systems, morphemic cueing systemtextual cueing system, typographic cueing system, and picture cueing system. The four language cueing systems are the graphophonic cueing system, the syntactic cueing system, the semantic cueing system, and the pragmatic cueing system.
