How to Restore the Church

Christians who are mature in doctrine and practice face an internal struggle as they see the falsehood and corruption in the church.  Most churches are entrenched in doctrines and practices that have corrupted slowly over time.  Some are less consequential issues; others are ensnared by wickedness which will invariably lead to being disqualified as a church.  The corruption continues because few members have a conscience against what is wrong.  The majority lacks a conscience because they have not developed strong convictions born out of solid instruction from Scripture.  The cure is to get the majority of the membership into the Sacred Text with their mind and heart.  If most of the families realize the value of a particular truth or practice, the whole system will be restored to a biblical model.  Until then, the few who uphold a righteous practice will be frustrated by the majority who see the issues as immaterial.  The beauty of stirring a love for the Bible in the heart of the congregation is that a host of problems will begin to align.  Oh, would to God that He would have mercy on His church and open our eyes and our hearts!
