An Introduction to American Sign Language and Deaf Culture
This will be a fun, playful session where whole family attendance is encouraged. We’ll talk about the wonderful world of Deaf Culture. As a hearing person serving the Deaf, I can answer some questions, and give insight on how to step out and find a place to meet and socialize with the Deaf in order to learn more from the heart of the community. In addition to a discussion about Deaf Culture, we will learning some basic signs to use for interpreting the song “What a Wonderful World,” by Louis Armstrong.

My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with Karen Sexton and other workshop leaders and speakers. Furthermore, my desire is to help homeschool workshop leaders and speakers develop relationships with more convention planners and audiences. May your efforts be for the glory of Christ and the strengthening of His saints. Disclaimer:
