Parents Want to Learn Too!
Making sure our kids get a good education is so important, and all homeschoolers put a lot of thought and energy into providing wonderful opportunities such as classes, curriculum, field trips, etc. But are we modeling a life long love of learning? Are we putting so much time and so many resources into our children’s development that we are neglecting our own enrichment? We parents certainly need to prioritize and sometimes put our own needs second, but we should not turn away from those parts of ourselves that keep us vital and engaged with the world. Let’s come together to work on strategies for continuing to pursue our own growth while nurturing our children’s. After all, mom (and dad:-) wants to learn too!

My hope is that this list will assist conference organizers in connecting with Talitha "Professor Iris Prism" Sherman and other workshop leaders and speakers. Furthermore, my desire is to help homeschool workshop leaders and speakers develop relationships with more convention planners and audiences.
