The Well Planned Day, Yes It’s Possible!
Are your days Holy Spirit led or kid led? Looking for a way to not only organize your homeschool but your life? Look no further… this workshop is for you! Come join in our discussion of life plus homeschooling. In this seminar, Rebecca will share her own strategies of how she had to organize her schedule around some very unique circumstances. She shares how organization can be accomplished no matter what your situation. Learn how to use your own children’s gifts to help them establish a formula that works for them. Husbands will love to hear how to schedule home improvement goals in with the budget and actually find time to get those honey-do projects accomplished. Rebecca will explain how she studies each of her children and prayerfully sets reasonable goals and expectations for each semester. Be encouraged to know that this workshop is not the checklist mentality but works for any family in every circumstance.
A Second Look: Bathsheba and Other Women of the Bible
How many parents have named their child Bathsheba or Rahab? Bathsheba was the mother of King Solomon -- he learned godly wisdom and precepts at her knee. And Rahab risked everything to obey the God of Israel, and God used her directly in the line of Christ. Can we learn from their examples? Join Rebecca and walk through several sticky situations and examine how we can benefit greatly from the accounts of these women. Find out the identity of the Proverbs 31 women as described by wise King Solomon. Are there other godly women in the Word that we can look to who can speak to some of the unique positions we find ourselves? Why is this important to us as homeschooling mothers and wives? Join in the conversation as we explore these issues.

Scot and Rebecca Keliher are the founders of Home Educating Family Publishing, but more importantly, parents to five unique, humorous, and fun-to-hang-with kids. With three girls in the lead and two boys following close behind, life in the Keliherd is never boring.
Rebecca is also quick to note that she is not Superwoman and when her oldest daughter began high school, she enrolled her in the Francis Schaeffer Study Center, an excellent homeschool friendly one-day-a-week program covering the majority of the high school subjects.
Residing in Nashville, TN, Rebecca's knack for digital scrapbooking coupled with her computer programming background led her to take a school newsletter and develop it into a magazine. Three years later and with Scot on board as Senior Editor, handling the day-to-day office and advertising administration and with the help of numerous contributors, photographers, staff writers, and copy editors, the Kelihers publish Home Educating Family Magazine quarterly, reaching all fifty states and nine foreign countries.
As evidenced by their mission statement, the Kelihers have a passion for affecting culture by planting and nourishing a Christian worldview in the hearts and lives of the homeschooling community. The Home Educating Family Magazine engages today's homeschooling family in thoughtful discussions on the most important issues that affect faith and family. Scot and Rebecca want to be a part of raising up a generation of kids who are spiritually and intellectually equipped, not just to survive, but to go out and change the world.
....and changing the world starts at home.
